What a gown really costs.
Every bride asks, and every atelier answers vaguely. Here is the honest version — what gowns cost in the Philippines, what moves the price, and how to think about your budget before you ever step into a fitting.

In the Philippines, most brides land in one of three lanes. The ranges below are what the market broadly charges — your gown may sit anywhere in them depending on the choices you make.

What actually moves the price
Fabric first. Imported French or Italian lace and real silk can cost several times what local equivalents do, and a gown carries metres of it. Choosing where the imported fabric shows — the bodice the camera sees — and where a local twin can stand in is the single biggest budget decision you will make.
Then hands. Beading is priced in hours, and a fully hand-beaded bodice is weeks of them. Appliqué placement, embroidery, and covered buttons down a long zipper all add quiet labour that honest ateliers will itemise if you ask.
Then structure. A clean minimalist column is deceptively demanding — there is nothing to hide a seam behind. Corsetry, boning, layered skirts, and a cathedral train each add construction time. And a rush timeline compresses all of the above into overtime.
How paying for it works
A private fitting comes first — it is where the real conversation about budget happens, with fabrics in hand instead of photos. Reserving your slot costs ₱300 by GCash, and the fitting is one bride at a time. For gowns delivered by courier, the shipping fare is quoted separately once the gown is ready, so it never hides inside the gown price.
